Chic Bar Carts = Cocktail Ready

There's something sort of glamorous and alluring about having a fully stocked bar cart in your home. Whether you're hosting a dinner party or an unexpected guest drops by, a stylish little bar set-up allows you or your guest to make a drink or pour a glass of wine with ease and convenience. When we have parties, I have to lug out all of our bottles of liquor (which I keep under the kitchen sink, next to the cleaning supplies...) and set up an area of our kitchen counter top as the official "bar". I've always wanted a small cart or tray table that I could keep fully stocked with spirits, wine and and a mixture of cool drinking glasses. Maybe this is something I'll work on over the weekend...I've definitely been in the mood to change things around my apartment! Do you have a bar cart  or some sort of similar set-up in your home? I'd love to hear all about it. Cheers to a happy Friday and fabulous weekend :) xoxo - Julie

  5. Bar-carts are amazing, Emily from Cupcakes and Cashmere has one btw.
At my parents home the bar is actually a build in cupboard that opens so that the "door" becomes a serving area. It's covered in small mirror pieces as well, so it doesn't look dark, and it's easy to clean up if something accidentally spills. On top of that, we have another cupboard with transparent sliding doors, where we keep some glasses handy for the occasional unexpected guests!

  11. I love this idea. Since my husband and I had a "Stock the Bar" shower with all of our friends before we got married, we've kept our liquor in a wardrobe. This gives me new ideas although we are lacking some space. Thanks!
