Blog Love and Appreciation

It's been almost 5 months since I began this blog and I must say, it was one of the best things I've ever done. I barely even knew what a blog was when Dianna over @ Seams of Thought introduced me to hers...I was inspired to figure out how to start one of my own and as soon as I got the hang of things, I was hooked! Sometimes I wonder what the heck I did before becoming a blog addict...what did I do in my spare time?!! (okay - I do have a life, I swear! I just really enjoy sitting on the computer for hours on end, discovering and exploring other blogs and new post ideas). I have met some really fantastic people and a whole new world has opened up for me. I love the "community" that I've become such a part of and enjoy reading up on what inspires and moves each and every one of you; not to mention the supportive and encouraging comments consistently given to one another. This whole experience has taken me on an exciting new journey and has brought much happiness my way. A big thanks to all of you who visit my blog every now and then (or daily :) and thank you for your great comments and support. I appreciate you all very much! What has your experience been like since beginning your blog?PHOTOS CREDITS: FOCUS GROUP II & JOYFUL DANCE - BOTH FROM ART.COM

Although Atticmag doesn't technically qualify as a *blog* per se, since we are a magazine, I have to chime in to say how incredibly nice the blogging community has been towards us. I have corresponded with so many of you as we built our "Links we Love" list and the response has been so rewarding. I've discovered the most amazing people and blogs, yours included dear Julie. I knew the moment I landed on your blog that it was going to become a daily read for me.

And SO glad to hear I'm not the only one at my computer watching the hours slip away as I surf the various blogs :-) Jane

  4. such a lovely blog you have. i think the elsie de wolfe quote sums up (at least what i think of the blog world) so well: a place to celebrate beauty and one another.

  5. Blogging is a wonderful way to voice, project and produce work all for motivating comments. I have found the community to be extremely supportive and wonderfully positive. It is an exciting journey to meet other bloggers and to be a part of a force. Blogging has a kind of lost etiquette in today's world and elevates one to a classy audience.

  7. You know, it's almost like I can't imagine NOT having a blog. I'm always thinking about new posts and inspirations. And it's just so relaxing to hop on and start typing away. Its' fun, isn't it?!

  8. Yes..what WAS life like before? Did my house get vacuumed more? E-mail returned in a more timely manner? Did the weeds get evicted from my garden more often? But you're right--it is such a relaxing way to spend an afternoon, and as someone who spends a lot of time with either a three year old or alone in a flower studio, I do so love my blogging friends. And I'm glad you've become one!
