Bridal Shower Inspriation Gallery

My best friend Michelle (since the 2nd grade!) is tying the knot in January and I'm helping plan her bridal shower, which is coming up next month. We've pretty much settled on the menu - it's an 11:00 Sunday brunch so we'll be serving a variety of homemade quiches, salad, lox & bagels, fresh fruit, etc., and of course, plenty of champagne! The only thing we haven't settled on is the DECOR and COLOR scheme! Kind of a big part of the shower, right?! So I've been browsing around the Internet looking for inspiration and ideas on flowers, centerpieces, and decorations and decided to share my finds with you! I know there must be some brides-to-be or bridesmaids out there that are in need of a little inspiration as well :) Please let me know your thoughts, ideas, online resources that I should be checking out...any input would be much appreciated! Have a wonderful, relaxing weekend. xo - Julie

  3. awww so nice! I love the idea of making paper flowers, that way, she can keep them and they it can be incorperated into her decor as a beautiful keepsake. :)

  4. So in US you have bridal shower for the bride. Do you have a hen party aswell? In sweden we don't have bridal shower but hen parties instead. We kidnap the bride in the morning, start with champagne breakfast, then we do several things during the day like poledancing, laserdome, recording a CD, adventure activities, horseriding etc etc. We often go to a spa in the afternoon then dinner in a restaurant and then go out and dance all night. :)

  5. julie, i was scrolling down this post and actually remebered your post from a while ago where you made those petit fours, and i said, hey i think those are hers. and then i saw i was right. hey i'm paying close attention huh? sounds soooo exciting, i'd have to have tons of fresh flowers, that would be a must. also, maybe pretty china collected that doesn't match on the table? might be vintage/eclectic fun. i'll think of some other ideas and add in later. for now, happy weekend julie! ;)

  8. They all look gorgeous, but I really like the colours in #2 and the blue outdoor table is really special. I suppose the theme really depends on what kind of person the bride is, and maybe her favourite colours?
    Enjoy,
