Color Palette Inspired by Art

I believe inspiration can be found anywhere and everywhere. When creating a new color scheme for a client, I look to everything from art and fabric to nature and fashion. Once you find that key piece, it's easy to pull out 3 or 4 colors to build your color scheme and design around. I came across this stunning piece of art yesterday and was instantly inspired to create a new color palette around it. The result: fresh, classic and chic (it reminds me of Spring, which I'm so ready for!).

  14. Actually, that color palette would compliment a traditional and masculine brown back ground well.

I love that you were inspired by my painting! I was wondering how you found me, I think its so cool how you could visualize a theme around it. I can paint but I can't put a room together... :)
