Inspiration Snapshot: Colorful & Classy

I'm in love with this living room designed by Eileen Kathryn Boyd, via Lonny Magazine. What a great example of how lots of color can be used in a space without overwhelming it. The neutral sofa, accent tables and white matting around the artwork help create a nice contrast and sense of balance. This room just makes me really happy :) What do you think about it? Please share your thoughts!

  1. Yes! I love it! This is my wall color. I am always afraid people are going to feel like they are walking into a daycare or circus or something. I'm glad to see this color on someone else's wall... and on your blog! Love it.

  2. It is an utterly stunning shade for a wall, I love blue in general but that is so striking!

  3. I really love this image. I think it's really amazing what paint can do for a space! The blue on the wall is lovely and all of the artwork really brings a richness to the room. I'm with you, I think this works marvelously because of the large, neutral furniture in the room. Thanks for sharing!
