{9} Reasons I'm Looking Forward to Fall

It's almost "officially" fall and I'm starting to get excited. Summer is my favorite season of the year and I always have a hard time transitioning into fall, but the weather we've been having here in southern California of 90 - 100 degrees with heavy humidity is killing me! I'm soooo ready for cooler days and all of the other fabulous things that come along with the fall season. What are you looking forward to most?  - Have a great weekend! xoxo - Julie

 1. Cozy evenings by the fireplace

 2. Autumn decor - simple accents to bring in the colors of fall

3. Hearty comfort food, including delicious homemade soup

4. Candles to create a warm ambiance

 5. Thick scarves and leather jackets

 6. Makeup that's a little more dramatic

 7. Cooler days and multi-colored trees

8. Delicious and sinful desserts, like this Pumpkin Caramel Blondie

 9. Entertaining family and friends with a beautifully decorated dinner table!

  1. I am SO looking forward to autumn as well. I can't wait for cosy days and walks kicking through the golden leaves!

  2. I am really looking forward to fall, too. It's always great to break out those cooler-weather clothes and make a good ol' pot of soup.

  3. Yes. Beautiful post. I'm ready for autumn.

  4. Ah these are all lovely reasons to enjoy fall and have me excited for the season - it is getting colder here and I am so ready to layer up and sip on pumpkin spice lattes. Hope you are doing well!
    Much love,

  5. So excited for fall. Love the layering of clothes, wearing my hair down, and most of all, the delicious comfort food that comes with the crisper weather. Thinking about it makes me want to run out right now to pick up a pumpkin spice latte :) Happy Friday all!!

  6. Me too,I love all the layers in fashion and in home decor,it's cozy and comforting.

  7. I love autumn! Great photos and inspiration- I might have to steal the pressed leaves idea! I'm looking forward to pumpkin everything, lots of tea with honey, and walks around the lakes while the leaves change :)

  8. I agree with you on all points! It's still a bit too warm here to sit infront of our fire place but I'm making a pumpkin soup right now, candles are already on and I had a great apple crumble today :D I really love fall, it's my favourite season.

  9. Belles photos. I am not really ready for fall yet as it has been an amazing summer here in Montreal and I know what is coming! To much snow...

  10. Hooray for fall! It's almost here! Love the images you selected :) Kristin

  11. Even though Fall is my absolute favorite time of the year I always get a little sad saying goodbye to summer. These imagine really make me want fall NOW.

  12. Gorgeous colours up there-- if only it was acceptable to hibernate all winter by the fire instead of working!

  13. I can´t wait for fall as well! I am pinning everything that has to do baking with pumpkin, burgundy colors and chunky knitts. Love your blog! xx from Mexico
