Color Pop

Painted walls and fabric are great ways to introduce color into a space, but another fun way to add a pop of color is with a vibrant piece of painted furniture. We often go with the usual furniture finishes - stained walnut or espresso, black, white, natural, metallic...why not mix it up and add that one unexpected painted piece in bright lacquered orange or deep turquoise? I'd love to add a bold painted side table to our living room! What about you? Do you have any fun painted accent furniture in your home?

  1. I love this look, but I've always loved colour. I don't have any brightly painted wood pieces in my home right now, because my walls and other pieces are colour enough.

  2. That red chest is a dream! We have subtle colors, but I'm inspired to try a bright pop :)

  3. What I love about a painted piece is the change you can have by repainting it when and if you ever grow tired of the color! It sure does add life to a room.
