Still Loving Wallpaper

Hello! I hope your week is going well. Today I'm talking about one of my favorite accents in a space - wallpaper! I've blogged about wallpaper several times over the years because it has been, and continues to be, right on trend. Gone are the days of stale floral patterns and tacky borders. Wallpaper today continues to be bright, bold, fresh and modern. There are endless possibilities of what you can do with it - accent walls, ceilings, backs of cabinets or bookcases, and so much more. Wallpaper can be an easy and inexpensive way to liven up a space instantly. I've gathered together some great examples of how paper can transform a space. For some fabulous wallpapers I've hand selected online, check out my September Ideabook for Houzz. What do you think about this trend? Have you papered any rooms recently? Do share! (P.S. Today is the last day to enter the amazing giveaway I'm hosting to attend Design Camp in Austin next month...winner will be announced tomorrow!)

  1. I'm still 100% crushing on wallpaper, too, Julie. I think it's such a brilliant way to add colour and pattern to a home, and with the new no paste options it can be great for swapping out as trends come and go if you so wish to change.

  2. Hi Julie, I too love me some wall paper, but as of recent I discovered that stenciling walls can give you a similar effect with a less committal approach. I did it in a client's home and will be doing the wall behind my bed hopefully this weekend! Regardless though, wall paper is amazing and I'm glad it came back in a big way.

    XOXO,
    Whitney
