Brand New: Trina Turk Home Fabrics

I've been waiting in anticipation ever since the Schumacher sales rep told me they were just months away from launching a new fabric line designed by Trina Turk. It's finally arrived and the entire collection is even better than I expected! The bright, bold colors and patterns are so fresh and cheerful - I can't wait to use a few yards in my apartment (okay, maybe I'm dreaming) or for a client. I really love them all but I've grouped together some of my favorites by color...



Trina says, “there isn’t a huge difference in fashion design and interior design. It’s all color, texture, textile, and proportion. There’s definitely a lot of crossover there. That’s why I have had so much fun working on our retail stores. It’s been an outlet for working on interior design projects,” she explains.   3. lovely. the color combos are great. i especially love the yellow and black. and i have always had a thing for greens with blues!

    but the patterns are great, too. between the unique patterns and these colors, she has some stunning fabrics.

  4. Gorgeous! They remind me of some of the prints my mom was into in the '70s, but much more modenr takes. And I want the sofa (chair?) she is sitting on in the photo, it is fantastic in that print.

  8. I love Trina Turk, her clothing is my favorite, and I am loving her fabric. Good thing I've put off redecorating my bedroom until now...I can see where I'm going to go for inspiration!
