This new hot spot just opened up in LA and the concept is sweet and simple: the idea is centered around a "blow dry bar" - no cuts, no color - just blow outs for $35 (wash included). They even have a "menu" of different blowout styles to choose from. And it gets even better...they serve cocktails so you can relax and sip on a cosmo or glass of wine they make your hair (and you) look fabulous. Stop by on the weekend between 10 & 2 for "brunch blowout" and enjoy a complimentary croissant and mimosa or pop in for "happy hour" before a big night out. Sneak Preview: Pottery Barn Summer 2010

I haven't been over to Pottery Barn's website in a while, but I was pleasantly surprised when I received the Press Preview for what to expect this Summer. Most of the new product is typical PB style - fresh, clean and beachy - with some really beautiful unexpected accents. I especially love the Natural Curiosity dinnerware collection and the coral colored beaded Lafayette Chandelier. After browsing through these gorgeous photos, the spring/summer seasons can't come fast enough! The new summer collection hits stores on March 23rd.

I'm so excited about this new online magazine! Nesting Newbies covers everything from cooking and entertaining to decorating and resources on hot places to shop. When Domino magazine folded last spring I, like many others, was shocked and deeply saddened. Unfortunately, shelter magazines continue to fold, including Metropolitan Home, another one of my design favorites. However, the silver lining in all of this is that many free online magazines are beginning to spring up all over the Internet. One being Lonny Magazine, which premiered this fall and I couldn't be more excited!!! If you loved Domino as much as I did, this virtual read is jam packed with all kinds of interesting articles, features, interviews, resources, etc...just like Domino!
