Jewelry for the Home

The use of semi-precious stones and natural materials in the home is a refreshing change from the overuse of all the coral, glass and "synthetic bling" we've been seeing the past few years. According to Traditional Home, we are seeing more "turquoise backsplashes, rock crystal chandeliers, mica lampshades, lapis-trimmed tables, tigereye countertops..." The use of these beautiful materials gives the impression of timeless elegance and sophistication. The colors are to die for and there's something a bit magical about incorporating jewelry inspired elements into your home decor.

Enjoy your weekend! See you all back here next week for more exciting design finds and discoveries. Ciao :)

i would never tire of adding natural colors and materials to my home or commercial space. bringing the outdoors in. i think everyone needs to be surrounded by little reminders that there are beautiful environments outside as there are inside! enjoy your weekend, have a glass of wine tonight...me too!

So beautiful! These make me wish I had acquired some of the large stones that are so prolific in Brazil in my travels there!
