Greenhouse meets Glamour

I think I've died and gone to heaven! This adorable little greenhouse was built for owner, Heather Cameron, as a wedding present by her fiancee - hello! What an incredible gift to receive from your true love. He transformed an old run-down potting shed in to a quaint little greenhouse. "Heather set about furnishing her newly fashioned getaway with vintage-floral pillows, white-painted furniture, and collections of mint green jadeite and milk glass vases, all culled from Colleen Sawatsky of Vintage Home, a nearby business that reinvents cast-off furniture and home accessories." I never would of imagined adorning a greenhouse with glamorous chandeliers and refurbished furniture upholstered in lovely floral fabrics! Heather admits that it's become more of a cozy get-away to read a book or gather with friends than a functional greenhouse. I should have asked for one of these from my hubby before we got married! Although, I did get a pair of diamond earrings, so I can't complain :)

I discovered this article via Country Living, where I also found all of the beautiful photos. If this were mine, I think I would end up living in the greenhouse and visiting the main house on occasion!

  1. I dreamt of making one just like it last summer, but never came around to it. Maybe this summer should be the time to make such a place in my garden.

  3. Wow!! That little greenhouse is decorated better than my house!!!! ;-)

You're right, who would've thought to hang a chandelier in a greenhouse?! Nevermind TWO chandeliers!! But they totally work. And LOVE the basket of blue hydrangeas :-)

This is such a pretty space.... if it was mine, I'd be in it all summer long!!
