Trend Alert: Coral

I just received my new Metropolitan Home and it looks like coral is making a comeback! I thought it was on it's way out a just a few months ago but hey, trends come and go...and go away and come back and and disappear...well, you get the picture. What I like about coral this season is that I'm seeing more of a rich orange-red coral, instead of a "pinkish" coral that maybe we've seen in the past. Coral looks beautiful alongside warm grey or paired with black and crisp white. It also looks beautiful with teal, yellow, or neutrals.

  2. I'm happy that coral is sticking around. I didn't think it had run its course yet. It adds the perfect pop; not as bright as pink and not as bold as red.

  12. eeek to be honest, I am not much of a coral fan, I think it has something to do with looking awful on me...but that little dresser under the tupac painting is pure gorgeous.

  13. what a color packed post...just fabulous. that coral is such a happy color, i think it puts people in the mood for vacations, sunshine and fruity drinks. i adore the 4th one from the bottom, with that dresser and the wall treatment. would be an entry way that would grab your attention!

  15. I Agree with " avant garde" comment, it gives me a happy filling, takes me back to the 80's my first time pregnant, my second shop was decorated in coral as well,the colour suits me too. I can see myself in it again. And still have a roll our two of fabric, have to dig in my storage for it!

  16. Truly a gorgeous color! One of my favorites these days :) It really goes well with white...My favorite photos are 2 and 3 from top, I adore those earrings!
