This gorgeous home was recently featured in Veranda Magazine and was designed by Kathryn M. Ireland. It's a 5-bedroom Spanish Colonial Style home located in Southern California. The decor is so fresh and unpretentious. "Ireland blankets these interiors in a flurry of vibrant textiles, from paisleys and stripes to Marrakech prints and Central American florals, imparting a carefree, gypsy mien to the house. "My color palette typically comes from textiles and rugs. I layer as I go along," says the designer, whose global influences are reflected in her fabric collection "Mexico Meets Morocco." "Mexico meets Morocco" is totally up my "so-real-surreal" aesthetic life style path.

ReplyDeleteI absolutely love this house. The whole feel is exactly what my husband and I strive for in our home. It's got that relaxed come-in-and-have-a-margharita-vibe. Go barefoot... don't worry about coasters... yeah. I love it.
