My Latest Obsession: Chevron Patterns

I'm typing up this blog post at 1:00 in the morning...I must be crazy! My husband and I have been packing and getting ready for our trip to Vegas for the weekend. Trying to get everything squared away before we leave at the crack of dawn tomorrow...or I guess I should say, today! Anyway, a quick post on my latest obsession with Chevron patterns. We've all seen this pattern in the world of design over the years - in rugs, on pillows, wallpaper, etc. but lately I just can't get enough of it! Now all I can think about is getting a chevron area rug for our living room - I think it would be the perfect accent to anchor the room and tie everything together. And I love the crazy yellow and white room below...it's so over-the-top but in a fabulous, fun kind of way. What patterns are you drawn to?

Well, I'm signing off early to relax and (hopefully) win some money in Vegas! I wish you all a happy, safe and fun 4th of July holiday weekend! Cheers! xoxo - Julie

Hi Jules, you are completely crazy posting at 1am before your holiday! These patterns are very funky, I think in my house the more subtle colours would be more my thing, but the rooms in those images are so amazing any colour would look fantastic in that pattern!
You have yourself a fab holiday, win big and enjoy!

I totally want Tory Burch's dressing room, I could live in there. Just a fridge and a t.v. and I'd be good to go. Have a blast on your trip. Safe travels. xo

  20. Absolutely gorgeous post! What a round up of images.
Isn't it wonderful how the chevron can be calm and elegant or wild and bold? Sigh.
