Is it really Christmas Eve?! I can't believe Christmas is here...where does the time go! Anyway, I want to wish each and every one of you a very Merry Christmas! May yours be filled with lots of love and happiness and good times with family and friends. I'm looking forward to a big Christmas dinner tonight with my husband's family and then spending tomorrow with my family, including my (2) nieces and (2) nephews! God Bless and cheers!

Festive Tabletop and Decor Ideas

My husband and I are hosting our 6th annual Christmas party on Saturday. While we usually do an intimate sit-down dinner at one long dinner table with close friends, this year we've decided to switch things up and have a cocktail party. I'm a little relieved that I don't have to come up with a dinner menu for 20 people and can instead, focus on appetizers and festive cocktails. And of course, we can't forget my favorite part of the whole party-planning process - the decor & color scheme! I've rounded up some fresh ideas on centerpieces, table settings and decorations for inspiration - so many great ideas to choose from! What about you? Are you hosting a holiday party? It's hard to believe Christmas is just right around the corner! This year I'm trying to be proactive and get things done ahead of time...I'm notorious for waiting until the last minute to send out cards and one year I even finished my cards, addressed them and then procrastinated on buying stamps...and the cards never made it out! All that time wasted! Anyway, I love Etsy and found some adorable handmade cards from several different sellers. It seems like almost everyone is offering special holiday deals and discounts, so now is a good time to get on it!
