New Issue of Adore Home + My Blog Loving Feature!

There are so many fabulous online reads these days, one of them being Adore Home, who happens to be celebrating their 2 year anniversary in the new October/November 2012 issue. I'm so honored to be a part of their blog loving feature in this month's issue! They reached out to several bloggers and asked us to share the items we are loving right now. It was hard to narrow down my top picks to just a handful, but I manged to pick some very special items that I hope you'll enjoy. Hot off the Press: Trad Home's Premiere Issue!

New online magazines have been springing up left and right, especially over the past year. Much of it has to do with the decline of beloved shelter magazines, many of which have been forced to fold because of, what else?... "the economy" (so over saying those words!). Last month I mentioned the exciting launch of yet another fabulous online read, Trad Home, which is a collaboration between Anne Maine, Editor in Chief of Traditional Home Magazine and Co-founders of Lonny Mag, Michelle Adams & Patrick Cline. This fabulous magazine has officially launched and the premiere issue is packed with 347 pages worth of design bliss! Personally, it's one of my favorites so far in the sea of online design magazines - clean layout, great variety of features and stories, and an overdose of eye candy (but in a good way). Take a look for yourself and let me know what you think!

My First Magazine Feature...

Happy Friday! The day has completely gotten away from me and it's just about time to close up shop and pop open a bottle of wine. I have a little celebrating to do and wanted to share the fun news with you! As most of you know, I own an interior design firm and an online boutique, and the fabulous team over at Laura U Mag recently asked if they could do a feature story about me and my business in their April / May issue.  I happily agreed to do an interview and submit some of my work. For those of you unfamiliar with this online magazine, it's produced and published by the super talented interior designer, Laura Umansky. The new issue launched today and I'd like to invite you to check out the article, beginning on pg.77. I really enjoyed being a part of it and wanted to say Thank You to the wonderful, hardworking ladies at Laura U for making it happen!  *** I wish you all a fabulous weekend! What do you have planned? Inspiration Snapshot: Chic Elegance

Doesn't this room feel like a breath of fresh air?! I spotted it in the brand new issue of High Gloss Magazine, which launched today. I'm usually not a fan of white walls but in this case, white totally works. The gold frames, grasscloth upholstered ottoman, black lamp shade and cowhide rug add texture and depth to the space; the pops of lavender and purple bring everything to life. Hot off the Press: Adore Home Magazine April/May Issue

Hope you're having a great week. I've been keeping busy with clients and updating my shop for Spring (take a look at all of the fun new things we've added so far :). Premiere Issue: High Gloss Magazine

Yes, that's right! Another fabulous and inspirational online design magazine has launched! High Gloss Magazine covers everything fabulous, modern and chic...from interior design and entertaining to hot trends and the best places to shop. Click here to read their mission statement and to get a feel of what High Gloss is all about. The High Gloss team is made up of a talented group of women, including the lovely and talented Paloma Contreras, Founder and Editor-in-Chief, and author of the blog La Dolce Vita; along with Editor Erin Gates who also writes the blog Elements of Style. And the most exciting part...they featured an accent pillow from my online shop, which was a total surprise! You can see it along with other fabulous pillows on page 34). Inspired Workspace: Kelley Moore

Have you seen this article in the latest issue of Rue Magazine, featuring lifestyle expert Kelley Moore's amazing office?! What was formerly a repurposed factory has been transformed by Kelley into a beautiful work space for her team and clients to enjoy. She embraced the rustic elements of the building's exposed brick walls and wood beams by injecting whimsical prints and bold furniture silhouettes, along with doses of red, her brand's signature color. Kelley stresses the importance of  making your workspace lifestyle drive offers tips on how to do so: include items your collected from your travels for a conversation starter with friends and colleagues; bring your favorite decor pieces to the office so you can enjoy them all day long; create an area that inspires you to reflect and gets your creativity going. I currently work from home and have done my best to create a workspace that inspires me, however, I dream of the day I can move into my very own office and design studio...especially if it could look something like this!

What's New! Ivy & Piper Online Magazine

I woke up this morning to an email sharing exciting news about two things...#1) another fabulous online design magazine has made it's debut: Ivy & Piper, Spring 2010 issue has launched! #2) they featured belle maison as part of their "Beautiful Blog Roll", along with 6 other bloggers whom I adore! Such a nice surprise :)

Australian interior designers Elizabeth and Melanie are the founders and editors of Ivy & Piper, a new online magazine featuring inspiring interiors, lifestyle products and fashion. The premiere issue features some incredibly talented designers, including Windsor Smith (pg.22), Vanessa de Vargas (pg.26) and Ana Spiro (pg.40). Packed full of design eye-candy, shopping resources, etsy favorites and much more, I think you're going to love this little slice of decorating heaven as much as me! Fabulous new online design magazines have been popping up all over the place and nothing could make me happier! With the loss of Domino, I think many of us experienced withdrawals that left us craving a new source for fresh, modern and attainable design inspiration. Adore Home is an Australian based home and lifestyle magazine, with a mission to "bring you beautiful homes from across the globe, tips and design advice from interior experts, as well as easy online access to the latest home treasures."
