Fresh Spring Updates with Fab

Spring is right around the corner which always gives me the urge to clean out my closet, re-organize my home office and shop for new accessories to update my apartment and wardrobe! For many of us, the spring season is a great time to refresh and re-energize your home - especially if you've endured a long, cold winter. Some of the easiest ways to add a pop of color and breathe new life into your decor is with a couple new pillows, a rug, art, etc., and Fab is the perfect place to pick up a fresh new accent or two! Fab is a design-curated shop, which features unique, quality design products. I love browsing their collections of  modern, innovative and quirky products for either myself or my design clients. They're constantly introducing new collections, which makes every visit to their site so exciting. Here's what I'm currently loving from Fab...

Quote of the Week

"My bedroom is the center of my universe and favorite room in my house. Why? Because at the beginning and the end of each day, it is where I gather my thoughts. And I believe that we are what we think. So I take extra care with my bedroom and try not to clutter it and to keep it fresh."

'Five Things' Friday

Can you believe it's March already?! My son Luke will be 10 months old tomorrow...it's crazy how fast time goes by, especially with a baby. I hope you have a wonderful weekend - anything fun planned? Enjoy! xoxo - Julie

One. This space makes me happy! The rustic wooden trough filled with fresh blooms is just gorgeous! And the tufted benches and crystal chandeliers? Heaven. [Image via The Party Dress]

Two. I'm obsessed with the custom watercolor painting created by Black Crow Studios for this beautiful office space designed by Abbe Fenimore.

Three. I had a ton of shopping to do this week for a project install and took along my little assistant Luke. This one ended with two carts full of goods! [Follow me on Instagram: juliethigpen]

Four. Such a great idea to spruce up a staircase! It would also look great keeping the paint colors more subtle if you don't want to go so bold. [Image via Pinterest]

Five. This DIY project "Faking Photo Canvases" is one I'd love to try! Blogger Chelsea created this entire wall of "canvases" for around $40. Go here for details.
