Color Me Happy

This photo inspired today's post. I'm loving the floral patterned fabric mixed with solid bright colors... not to mention the beautiful acrylic chairs, green carpet and funky wall decor. Oh, how it makes me smile :) What a brilliant room for dining and entertaining!

I'm craving color today so here are some pretty things that are bright and bursting with lots of color! I'd like to start off with one of these cupcakes for breakfast!

I'd place this blooming vase of roses on my desk so I could stare at them all day long while working. Do you think it would be alright to do some house work wearing one of these silk kimono robes with the bright fuchsia heels?

Notice the fluffy pink dress hanging to the right? I'd like to slip that on for the day, even if it's just to run errands.
If I had a pink piano, I'd be more inclined to learn how to play! And I'd love to sit in this chair each morning at my vanity (if I had one) and put on my make-up, while wearing my pink dress of course :) Enjoy your day!

  5. Wow what an amazing blog. I think I got here via Apartment Therapy and the I-heart-Orange-Blog? What took me so long to get here??!!

I'm glad to know that FINALLY a lamp has been named in my honor. (Even though it's not orange or pink - it's a lovely shade a blue a color I rarely speak highly of because everyone else adores it so.)

This Paulette, just today purchased 2 dozen pastel colored roses at Trader Joe's for something like $8 or $9 a dozen? They were too beautiful to resist and look lovely in our messy 1930's peach bedroom.

And last week purchased several thousands of yards of a vintage 40's floral fabric (I don't even know what I am going to do with it I just knew I had to have it) which is quite similar to the gorgeous floral in the first photo which is my favorite (even though it's sans the Paulette lamp). :)

The pink piano is to die for. But I cannot help but imagine a baby grande in pink would be even more fabulous than this amazing upright? (Your blog is making me high-maintenance!) :)

Love these colors and I've had a thing for the aqua Paulette lamp for a long time. I've found it on sale and am debating at this very moment whether to go for it... the sale ends tomorrow morning. It's tough to find this one with much of a discount.

I also have a 60 year old upright piano which needs to be refinished and I would love to have it painted pink! I'm using pink accents in my apartment. Of course, pink's probably not the most practical in the long run. ;)

thanks for all of the great ideas!
