Book Review: Mary McDonald: Interiors

If you're in need of some serious design inspiration, this book is for you!  Mary McDonald: Interiors is the first book on the work of the award-winning internationally published Los Angeles-based designer. Mary McDonald is one of today's most sought after designers whose projects have been the focus of over a dozen cover stories in major magazines like House Beautiful, Veranda, and Elle Decor, to name a few. I received my advanced copy a couple of weeks ago and haven't been able to put it down! It's been a while since I've been this excited about a design book. Over 250 pages packed with images of Mary's incredible work, broken down into different themes: SEDUCTION, CURATED, GLAMOUR, GRAND TOUR, THEATRE. A must have for all designers and design enthusiasts alike - I promise you this! Click here for details on where to purchase. {Mary McDonald: Interiors by Mary McDonald, Rizzoli New York, 2010}
And that concludes another busy, busy week for me. Happy Friday! Enjoy your weekend. xo - Julie

  4. Love the hits of colour in these spaces. I also really like that foyer - the big skirted table and pretty chair really make it chic, and that oversize lantern...swoon! :)
