Fabulous, Sexy & Stylish Spaces

Calling all Sex and the City fans and fashionistas! Sex and the City II is out and I can't wait to see it with my best girlfriends this weekend :)  In honor of all of the fun, fashion and inspiration from these four amazing women, I've rounded up some images of spaces that are feminine, glamourous and even a little sexy. Enjoy and have a wonderful long weekend! Are you planning on going to see this too and/or are you doing something fun? XOXO - Julie

Tray Chic

I've been obsessing over trays lately - round, rectangular, square...metal, lucite, wood - so many options to neatly contain your stuff. You can quickly change a messy looking tabletop to a stylish and tidy surface. I have plans to place a tray in my bathroom to hold perfume, lotion, jars of q-tips & cotton balls; in my dining room with bottles of liquor, wine and barware; and maybe on my kitchen counter set up as a little coffee bar. Okay, that sounds like a lot of trays but if I mix up the styles, I think it should work out. Below is a snapshot of the tray on my coffee table. What are your thoughts on this mini-trend?

What's New! Trina Turk Boutique, Florida

Fashion designer Trina Turk recently launched her seventh boutique at the shops at Bal Harbour Village, Florida. Different firms and designers have done her boutiques in the past, including Kelly Wearstler and Jonathan Adler. This time around she hired MR Architecture + Decor, who I think did a fabulous job! Trina asked  Mann to make the store accessible and fun or, as he puts it, "not cheap but not expensive or intimidating." I think they did exactly that...the overall look and feel is fresh and chic with a touch of glamour.  The bright pops of color mixed with crisp white accents make a nice backdrop for the classic vibrant prints and patterns of Trina Turk's clothing and accessory collections. What do you think about the design of her new boutique?! I highlighted a few of my favorite details at the very end of the post.

New Collections from Romo

I've been a fan of Romo for years. Their fabric and wallpaper designs are fresh, clean and sophisticated. Although they're on the high-end side when it comes to pricing, like fashion, sometimes it's okay to splurge on something expensive and luxurious, for that special touch you know you'll enjoy for years to come. At the very least, I enjoy just browsing their website galleries for inspiration! I've highlighted some of my favorites from their latest collections and I'm especially smitten with the wallpaper shown in the 3rd photo down from the Folia Collection...it looks like it a tile backsplash!
