Las Vegas 2011 Winter Market - Part 2

So sorry for the delay in posting Part 2! Was supposed to yesterday but I've been so busy and have neglected my little poor blog :( Anyway, Part 2 of the Vegas Market covers a variety of trends that caught my eye, including graphic patterns, vibrant colors, white lacquer, metallics, metallics and more metallics, all of which I can't get enough of! Take a look and let me know what you're excited about seeing this year.

I posted these Peacock Pillows back in August from the last Vegas market and guess what?! They'll be available to purchase next month in my online shop! Seriously, one of my favorite pillows ever :)

The photo doesn't quite do this table justice, but trust me, it's absolutely gorgeous. Made with a shiny white lacquer top and 50 year old reclaimed railroad ties for legs. This one is on my furniture wish list...either for my dining room or design studio (when I move in to one :). I think it would make a great work table, don't you?!

Las Vegas 2011 Winter Market - Part 1

I attended the Las Vegas Market show a couple of weeks ago and have been looking forward to showing you all of the photos I took of new product for 2011. This post covers the first half of my time at the show, which highlights the vintage / rustic / cottage-chic trends that are here to stay. Crowns, birds, horses, angel wings and butterflies/insects were everywhere in accessories, artwork and pillows. The whole bird trend is still going strong, which kind of surprises me.Textured fabrics like burlap, linen and jute remain popular, as do distressed painted finishes and natural raw woods used for furniture, lamps, and accessories.  Enjoy browsing through the photos and please share your thoughts on things you love, hate, want to see more of, etc...you know I always love reading your comments! Chunky wooden candle sticks, an ornate mirror and an over-sized lamp..all in fresh shades of turquoise.

Ever since I blogged about accessorizing with busts, I've been noticing them everywhere!

I'm not a huge fan of "blingy" accessories, but I really liked the contrast of these crystal tealights mounted on rustic iron bases.

Horses were everywhere - mainly in artwork and accessories. I fell in love with this piece of art.

Angel wings were another strong trend in accessories and wall decor. 

These were some of the most unique decorative vintage glass bottles I've seen. They were absolutely gorgeous...definitely on the pricey side, but true works of art!

Beautiful sand-painted glass jars with a crystal base and top. These were stunning!

Today I'm heading off to to Vegas, baby! I recruited one of my best girlfriends to join me at the 2011 Las Vegas Winter Market (I really had to twist her arm :), which is held at the World Market every 6 months. I went last August, which I blogged about here & here, and am looking forward to seeing fresh new product and inspiration for both my clients and online shop.  I'll be reporting back next week with lots of photos, ideas, inspiration and anything else worthy of sharing. Sneak Peek: Vegas World Market

Hello my lovely readers! I've seriously missed you. I'm sorry I've been MIA...just returned from the Las Vegas Market show after 4 long (but fantastic) days! I can't wait to share with you all of the amazing, beautiful, fabulous and exciting things I discovered, including what trends I noticed are on the rise, hot colors, and so much more.
